I'm if anyone has any tips or like the best step process?
Since you posted this in teens I am going to guess you might be a minor. Therefor, I am going to suggest you don't do this at all. Not sure where you are but I am assuming you are wanting to do this yourself because you live somewhere where you must have a parents permission. And that you have been unable to get it. If I am wrong then ignore that bit of advice and skip to below.
Besides placing it wrong you could subject yourself to infection. It can end up being a very painful thing. You really should have a reputable professional do this. You need to make sure everything is properly sterilized and that can really only be done by a pro. Even then there is no guarantee that you won't end up with it getting infection but at least you have a heck of a lot better chance.
The best process is to have a professional piercer do your piercings as it will lessen the likelihood of serious infection.
I peirced my belly button by myself.. heck go for it!!
Do u have any steps or tips?Quote:

I would just go and pay the 30 dollars to have it done by a pro.
It's less expensive than getting infections.
Less expensive and less dangerous. Some infections can kill you if left untreated.
I have nipples, belly and... as well. (I'm male). Get it done professionally-it is (usually) performed as a surgical procedure = sterility.
the easiest and most quick is done by a professional piercer-by laying down the skin and musculature of your tummy is relaxed and it is easier for the marking process (piercers will mark you first and then pierce after you have viewed the proposed position).
cheers
love to see the result when you get it done.!
Your best bet is to just ask your parents if you can go get it done. And see what they say. Because I did my friends and everything went wrong and it got infected really bad.. so just ask your parents for like your birthday or something!!
infection infection infection-- go to α pro
Eeeek. I've done this before when I was 13 with the earring I got my ear piercd with. I suggest you don't do it. I was too chicken to do it fast, and the earring was dull and.. it just wasn't a good scenario for moi. I'd rather go to a professional. If your parents say no, get an adult friend or a cool family member to just take you and get it anyway. Personally, I don't see what the big deal is with a belly button getting done.
I've pierced my cartlidge twice and my right tragus. Neither have gotten infected. And I'm about to go pierce my bellybutton and my rook by myself.
You go for it, but your luck will run out eventually. Not to mention the fact that you could put it in crooked and it will look bad and you'll have to take it out anyway.Quote:

See.
So, I'll keep posted as it gets older.
If it gets infected or anything.
But its going good so far.
And it hurt.
It looks kind of crooked. Did you do it yourself or have a friend do it?Quote:

Good luck with that. I hope it doesn't get infected, but piercing yourself isn't the best of ideas. :)
Welll just use a lot of ice to numb it and don't forget to starilze the needle you have to light it up with fire to put all the bacteria away
Yes, and everyone is entitled to make mistakes.Quote:

Pppllleeeaaassseee do not do it. It may not seem like it now but getting your belly button pierced is a BAD idea.
I think that one of the tips is if your doing it with a needle, safety pin, etc. you should always sterilize it by letting it sit in boiling hot water and then putting the needle or whatever through a lighter to make sure its more sterilized. I have pierced my belly button 4 times now. Well I'm doing the 4th time now so. But you that's about it. OH AND Don't FORGET when you clean it use antibacterial soap non scented.Quote:

Giving advice like this can lead to someone getting an infection.
YEAH DUDE uhhhhh if you have any older friends that know like a tattooo or piercing shop really well, let them hook you up. Don't do it yourself, I have a close friend that did, and she has a permanent infection in her stomach now, and she can't have kids... no joke
Well then its good that I didn't do it. I thought about it and I was like never mind thanks for the quick advice.Quote:

XxX
I know you're probably asking because your parents have probably said no and you aren't old enough to go get it done yourself. Its no big deal if you don't have it peirced. 1. if you do it yourself, you could mess up and it will look like crap. 2. infection infection infection 3. you don't realize that there is going to be pain. You may partly get a needle through then realize, "wow this really hurts" and not want to finish. Its just a big mess waiting to happen so don't do it lol.Quote:

My mom saw what I was doing and decided to get it done for me by a pro and Ive never had a problem with it since. Ive had mine for about 9 years now.
I would definitely not do it myself, but, if you do decide to regardless of all the people telling you not too, be sure you take it out ASAP at the first sign of infection and get something on it!
My fourteen year old daughter wanted to pierce her bellybutton so I took her a couple different places but they won't do it till she is 16.they wanted ID from both of us.the price of it is 58.00. Isn't that kind of high priced? I'm glad I came across this subject,I was thinking of doing it myself since I did her ears myself without a problem,I think this is more involved though.I will leave it to a pro.Quote:

So.
I told y'all I pierced mine a while ago.
Its still in.
Not infected.
Straight.
And I did sterilize.
And I do clean it.
More just in the shower.
I have changed my bellybutton ring and everything.
Just hurt like hell.
And my mom didn't really mind.
She just told me no more piercings till I'm eighteen.
Congrats. You got lucky. How did you sterilize?Quote:

Okay you people are nuts, piercings only really go wrong if you don't know what your doing or how to take care of it.
Yes, its not kindergarten simple but its also not hard. It doesn't take a brain sugeon to do it.
Hell yeah go for it, unless you already did. Just have a friend with you, clean it more than once a day try like 3, but not with alcohol, alcohol kills even the good bacteria that fights the bad bacteria so use peroxide. Twist it more than often, don't let it get crusty or let the bacteria build up but also make sure your hands are clean, or clean it afterwards. When piercing it, make sure you mark it correctly, and do it fast, don't stop in the middle of piercing it. Make sure the skin your grabbing to pierce doesn't have veins, you can normally feel them, and also make sure the skin isn't too think because then you culd be going way to deep. And if it bleeds, its okay, just clean it up, if its gushing blood then you didn't follow my advice.
