Naval piercing doesn't really hurt. I dotn think they had "snake bites" when I was of "piercing age" so I don't know about them... but I can say that a normal naval ring, does not hurt. There's a slight pinch from the clamp, but that's it. I would heed your moms advice until you are 18 however... for your own sake
What the heck are "snake bites"? I have never heard of any piercing referred to in that way before :)

That kind of piercing is not painful either. I used to have a monroe on my upper lip, one of my favorite piercings.

I think all mom's are cool unless they are abusive then they are not cool.

Oh I always wanted one on the back of my neck but never got the balls to do it... now I can't because of my work environment.
I have 8 in my ears they are all I left in, I had a monroe, a naval, a labret, and eybrow. Well my naval is still there, but not as cute as once was so I never put a ring back in... LOL, my hubby likes it though.
I love piercings, and they don't hurt me one bit. Except my Industrial, that was sort of not cool.
I used to be infatuated with them, growing up sucks.

I had to be 14 to have my belly pierced how old are you? But you should be okay and it doesn't hurt either:)

Here in UK, step-granddaughter had belly button done, she is 13 years old. Her mum gave her permission though.
Actually I believe here in the US you have to be 18 no matter where you go, but I have not been to every state so I could be wrong :pQuote:
