Lol, boys are so funny. Personally I think it looks best trimmed a lot but not actally shaven. Girls shaving is a totally different matter! Men seem to love that. Women not so much. It won't make you look bigger, it will just look as though you haven't hit puberty yet, esp if your 15!

I have shaved my balls once, it felt great, so soft and smooth that was a few months bk..and im 18. but soon the itching started and it was bad for about a week. once it got bk to a normalish length it felt ok again..normaly though i just trim the hairs just above it. im a very hairly person and like to keep it looking natural but looking decent and good.

Define the term "gay". I do not see whereby shaving underarms means you have an affection for another guy.

I am a male, 17, and I have been shaving since I was 16. What you have to keep in mind is that when you shave, you create micro cuts that are doors to STDs. The chances of getting Herpes increase A LOT because herpes is a skin-to-skin contact STD...

    Hey there,

Actually I think it's really cool that a guy posted this. I was with a guy who shaved there and I've been with more who don't. Personally I think that if a girl has to, a guy should!
So that's my opinoin. It's not "less manly" it's less hassle to deal with and it makes things
Look better if you know what I mean.

    Very popular post here...

I was with a guy who not only shaved his balls but got carried away and started SHAVING HIS LEGS. No, he was not an aquatic athlete, either. At the time, being so young and accepting of everything, I was okay with it.
Retrospectively, I am a little embarrassed for him
It seems like being young is a good time for experiments... a lot of young guys responded to shaving, but I would answer, do NOT proceed to other parts!
Maybe when you get older, the maintenance of it all becomes enough to withstand the fur.

Now, personally, my man has quite a jungle there. Because of the heat, the hair will eventually curl up and with enough friction/time, it will fall off. And because I'm used to it now, I wouldn't recognize his friend without his ruffles.

Leads to wonder, maybe I should start a post if a man should shave his arse :D

Just tell them "You dont mind getting a lil hair in your food".

Personally I shave, a couple times, I don't like having a jungle of hair. I Have had razor burn pulling off the "Bald Eagle" ITs unpleasant.

I really could care less what the male population thinks of shaving pubic hair. Im not pleasing them, but my lady. It really comes down to how comfortable you are dealing with the occasional itch from not having that padding.

I leave it up to you to decide. Its your body, and you've got to deal look at it in the mirror.

LOL, One thing to make a note of, if you want to accent your package or cookie, shave it, it makes it more appealing. And well your at it, Pierce it.

Decorate it like a present. ;)

Hi, see the below article. Herpes does not need a microcut to get into a person.

HSV-1 and HSV-2 can be found in and released from the sores that the viruses cause, but they also are released between outbreaks from skin that does not appear to be broken or to have a sore. Generally, a person can only get HSV-2 infection during sexual contact with someone who has a genital HSV-2 infection. Transmission can occur from an infected partner who does not have a visible sore and may not know that he or she is infected.

HSV-1 can cause genital herpes, but it more commonly causes infections of the mouth and lips, so-called "fever blisters." HSV-1 infection of the genitals can be caused by oral-genital or genital-genital contact with a person who has HSV-1 infection. Genital HSV-1 outbreaks recur less regularly than genital HSV-2 outbreaks

I know it doesn't need a microcut, but it the cuts are one more way you can get it.

I think it is fine to shave your pubic hair. I would ask your partner first though to see if they like it :)

They might not know they like it till after you do it. Anyway it will grow back in a few weeks if they don't. However I have heard of few who had partners that did not like it. None I have known personally dislike it smooth.

I'm speaking as a straight person so I can't comment on what the gay community likes or dislikes.

As a straight guy I love it and so does my wife.

STOP your only 15 you don't need to shave. And it's just going to be extremely hairy when your older if you continue.

I don't know what laws are in the states but here in canada a 15 year old is still considered a child. YOU GUYS SHE'S ONLY 15

I doesn't get thicker if you shave... thats been disproven as an old wives tale.

Its common and if you like it do it, if you don't then don't. But give it a few weeks to get used to it before you decide either way. Just know the right way to do it. It will appear a bit more sensitive the first time so that's why I said give it a few weeks. I you like it then do it, if you don't then don't. Its your body and its your choice.

Out of total curiosity, and the fact that my nether regions looked like they could use a long awaited grooming, I decided last Thursday that since you only live once, I'd shave my pubes and balls. Damn, it felt good for the first day, it was incredible! But a few days later, I'm really regretting it, the itching is terrible, the stubble feels like sandpaper in my groin and the redness and bumps look like they could mutate into some kind of giant monster and terrorise a small town!

Guys, if you don't need to do it, don't do it, no matter what your girlfriend or wife says. Curiosity killed the cat, and mine certainly did some disturbing psychological damage. I wish I didn't do it, and once it grows back, I'll be glad.

No, but I did read a lot about it on the net, and I knew the risks. But now that I've had a dose of it, I won't be trying it again.

Sometimes, something just doesn't work for all of us.
It has worked for me... but I use baby powder to releave the itch and I shave every morning with an electric razor.

Yeah, I've been using talcum powder to relieve the itch, works pretty well.

The thing about shaving is that it doesn't last that long. If you want a the smooth feeling for a while, a wax is what one should get:D

When you shave the hair never comes back "darker" or "thicker" what happens is your hair is on three different growth patterns and if you shave frequently than the hair will be put at the same leangth making it look thicker. Also the mid strand of the hair is thicker than the tip once you cut the tip off the hair looks darker and thicker

if you do it every two days it won't itch... it only tends to itch from day 3 to day 7 of growth. Trust me, I've been doing it for years.

That's how I got my wife to shave at first. Told her if she'd do it for me, I'd be more than willing to do it for her. She loves it now and keeps it that way. Actually gets upset if I don't keep it the same way.

You have to give it a few days because if you haven't done it before you feel things you never felt before. I'd give it one month shaving every two or three days. If you don't like it then, let it grow out. THe point I find it itchy is day 3 through day 7 of growth.

All right thanks. Um a couple other questions. I plan to let it grow out, but if I don't shave it all will it even out or look completely deformed and should I shave it all? Also, I read somewhere that once you start shaving you can't stop. Why not? Thanks guys for the help.

Give it's a complete shave for a while... give it a chance to see how you like it, then let it grow out and it will be even. If you do nothing it will eventually even out ((pubic hair grows to a certain length unlike the hair on your head) but will look weird for a lot longer.

It might look bigger but in d first week you have problems mastusbating
& I don't think the babyish look is any apppealing
Also full hair give your underwear a fluffy look
So I love keeping it than not

That's assuming you WANT the fluffy look.

Most women I have known really don't like a mound of matted hair there. But to each their own.
