At 12 I think you are still under your parents' care be it single or both parents. It is their responsibility to care for all your needs till you become an adult. Don't engage in a project bigger than you.
If your mother will not do anything then YOU NEED to get the police involved. These people are taking advantage of you!
DO NOT give them any money.
The procedure if they are on the up and up is to go after your parents for the money through court.
They, if they are on the up and up, should at least give you a list of the stuff with what it cost. Then a Judge would determine depreciation. They are using your naiveness.

I think mowing someone's yard sounds like a great way to get some of the money you need. Places like Gamestop will buy your used electronic games.

We are past how to get the money. If you read through she has had a bunch of suggestions and has raised most the money.
Now we need to convince her that she needs some legal advice before she hands these people any money.
You know somehow to me this feels like a scam, a way to maybe just get some money... May be wrong... but...
