To the OP. You have to control your own life. You can straighten up or you can continue the path you're on.

I'm sure your parents have hopes and dreams for you. I'm sure they want you to go to College.
The next accident you have you may not be so lucky.

Your friends aren't going to care if something happens to you. They may cry but in a year you'll be just a fading memory.

If you drink and drive you could kill an innocent person or if someone slips some drug into your drink you know what will happen.

You have some choices to make.
You can go on being a party girl and expect anything good to come of it.

    It's up to you.

    .

Excuse me, but you don't even know her how would you know what her friends would do or if they forgot. If you lost a friend would you really forget about them in a year? THis isn't a depressing thing! She just needs to be careful give herself a limit like one party a week or a month! Tell her friends she can't and if they still try then they aren't the best of friends, good friends want what's best for you! Just be careful and be happy:) don't drink and drive and don't go to bad parties.

How old are you sdfg? I have seen teenagers who have driven drunk and killed someone innocent. I have seen two of my daughters friends put in the ground because of driving drunk. No drinking at parties.. yeah right. At eighteen when you die your friends may grieve for a while but they grow up.

Questions like this involve opinion to a large extent. People who answer questions here give their advice based on their own knowledge and experience. Kitkat is a respected member of this site and has a track record of giving great advice.

Friends who lead you to do things that are bad for you are not real friends and those type will forget you in a year or so. The OP is exhibiting self destructive behavior and appears to need more of an intervention then to just show will power.

Ok... I'm fine with that. But the OP needs some hard advice on drinking and partying. Here at AMHD we give the best advice we can. Sometimes
    It's harsh but it's helpful.

That's a good thing to do. Just not to say they are going to die when they are 18:)

no. I think you're wrong here. Let's just say that she turns her phone off so they end up coming over, and just to make it even more complicated, let's say her parents aren't there to get rid of them. Why does she have to open the door? And even if she does open the door, why does she have to go? She doesn't have to go anywhere with them. She just doesn't want to take the responsibility. Responsibility is not an easy thing to take on, especially when we're younger. So I get that she doesn't want to admit her role in this. But the fact is, whether she's ready to face it, she has choices here and she hasn't been making good ones. So it's time to start practicing this one simple word: "NO!"

It may be hard to listen to someone talking about the death of a young person. That's life and we know that. Yes young people die, small children, young children teenagers. Older people die, it's something that is going to happen to all of us eventually.

You can shorten your life by the way you live, all of us can. Young people taking drugs, because it's "cool". Drinking until you pass out and waking up puking your guts outs. Getting in a car and driving drunk killing innocent people and finally the day will come that it's the end. Too many pills, too much booze and ectasy and unprotected sex. You end up dying from aids or from some stranger taking you home and either raping or killing you or both. That goes for older people too. You get in a car and drive drunk and end up hitting a tree or a telephone pole and you're dead.

I said people will cry and they'll be sad, but they will go on with their lives. The ones who are left hurting are your families your mom and dad and siblings. They never get over it. Your dead.. no college, no spouse or children or traveling to all the wonderful places you probably once dreamed of. Why? Because of the choices you made in your life. Read

    Death of an Innocent
"I went to a party, Mom, I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom, so I drank soda instead
I really felt proud inside, Mom, the way you said I would.
I didn't drink and drive, Mom, even though the others said I should.

I know I did the right thing, Mom, I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally ending, Mom, everyone is driving out of sight.
As I got into my car, Mom, I knew I'd get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised me, so responsible and sweet.

I started to drive away, Mom, but as I pulled out into the road,
the other other car didn't see me, Mom, and hit me like a load.
As I lay there on the pavement, Mom, I here the policeman say,
the other guy is drunk, Mom, and I know I am the one who will pay.

I'm lying here dying, Mom.. I wish you'd get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom? My life just burst like a balloon.
There is blood all around me, Mom, and most of it is mine.
I hear the medic say, Mom, I'll die in a short time.

I just wanted to tell you, Mom, I swear I didn't drink.
It was the others Mom. The others didn't think.
He was probably at the same party as I.
The only difference is, he drank an I will die.

Why do people drink, Mom? It can ruin your whole life.
I am feeling sharp pains now. Pains like a knife.
The guy who hit me is walking, Mom, and I don't think it is fair.
I'm lying here dying and all he can do is stare.

Tell my brother not to cry, Mom. Tell Daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven, Mom, put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave

Someone should have told him, Mom, not to drink and drive."

    The End
