Well I've known this girl for about 1 year now and in her phone book she has about 4 hearts next to my name. What do you guys think that means? Just a little curious?

it could mean that she likes you. Or it could mean her friends like doodling in her phone book. I would regularly take my friends day planner and write and draw random things all over it. How'd you get a hold of her phone book?

So my best friend has a boyfriend but she is about to move into college soon. On her cellphone next to my name it has <333 (hearts). About 2 days ago I got a text and she told me one of the girls on her volleyball team asked if I was her boyfriend because of the hearts next to my name. My friend said no, and the other girl asked her if her boyfriend knew about this. Do you think her telling me about this is a good thing or bad thing. Is she trying to hint that she likes me?? Just curious.

Not necessary, OP. Try not to read too much into it, take it light hearted.
She could really like you more than a friend, or just like a friend. You have to ask her, but before she answers you, you shouldn't read too much into it. You probably likes her a lot, when you like someone you twist all the signs into the signals you wish for.

Never mind my friend just told me that she changed it. It was there for the longest time and now its my name with some exclamation points next to it. I 'm hoping that she changed it because someone said something to her today about it, and she doesn't anyone else to question her about it. Wat you guys think?
