He is most likely a compulsive cheater and guys like that never stop cheating. You need to do no contact with him because you are only torturing yourself.
Every marriage I have known where the guy was a compulsive cheater and had a very compatible wife in every other wayended up breaking up because the wife just couldn't take it any more.
You are wasting your time and your life when you could be out meeting somebody that truly has your best interest at heart.

Simple math.

Stay with him = Suffer more

Leave him = Move on to better things in life

Yep tolerating it will clearly send the message that you'd rather keep him and put up with the cheating. So you get fed up with it and leave or you stay and live with it. I doubt you can change him.
