What does her dad say about her behaviour?? I think your being fair with her with the chores etc,I don't know what else you can do seems like your trying everything without success.. back to the stealing do you think she is being forced into this could that be the problem?

Not to point the finger but do you think her mum could maybe making her steal so she thinks that you'll end up kicking her out?

Thanks for the response Joanne, I would not think that their mom will tell her to steal but I do believe that she is manipulating her mind to dislike us so we lose our temper and do what she hopes to raise our hands to the her.

Yep, that's what my step daughter wants, for us to kick her out. We both know how mucha daughter can love the mother and if your already a mom you would know how much a mom could love a daughter. My husband exwife failed to protect her own kids from their stepdad, reason why we won the full custody. If I am on her shoes there's no way I could allow my kids anyway near their stepdad specially after hearing hwta he did to them.

You really need to make it clear that you love her, but you need to be tough. If both parents aren't following on the same path with their children.. it gives them the opportunity to put you both at Odd's with each other. Don't let her ruin your marriage.

Tell her what is expected of her, and how she should act. Tell her that you understand there is a lot going on in her life, but you are trying your darndest to make a new and better life for her...

By the way... How do you know she hasent tried stealing at stores? Most stores wait till you have stole a couple of times and create a file on you..
