I don't know,love is shown in different ways, sometimes it's another type of love. She probably feels like she can trust and relate to you a lot, that's why she claims to have such strong feeings for you. But over IM you honestly can't tell if your in love with her, you don't know her in person. But you also could... don't get me wrong... you might be feeling love that is at it's start but won't yet blossom until the future. Love is rare if you find the real thing, that's why there are so many relationship troubles.. nobody really knows if they are in love. They just get to know a person and grow from there. You never really know. You might just feel for her in her situations. She could be everything you don't expect her to be. For all you know she could be a man, not that she is. Don't sweat it. If this girl is one you know your REALLY in love with it will show over time and when you actually do meet in person ( if that ever happens ). But I honestly don't think a month of knowing someone will be a long enough time to tell if your in love with someone... well for real I mean. In order to fall in love, some face to face person to person contact is requird. If you care about her a lot give her you cell number and asker to call (tha way you can find out she;s not a guy or a perfert or something nasty) and once you know she's a girl go visit with her maybe it will work
