Be happy the jerk didn't blow the house to kingdom come. Have them switch to electric and that would allay any future problems with gas fittings. Anyone who has gas fittings is essentially playing with a stacked deck. Too bad you hired the wrong company to fix the problem.

I concur with everyone else about the "get an attorney" - but if you can't afford an attorney would suggest that you do a countersuit against them for the damages done.

If you've done so much legal research on all this court mumbo jumbo stuff, then you will have some sort of form to go by to do a counter suti action. This way you don't have to do the full filing fee, but pay the counter suit fee (cheaper) and piggybacks the suit onto theirs so you get the same judge.

I worked in law offices for over 15 years ago and had no trouble filing my own counter suits or lawsuits. The only problem with you is you won't know all the fancy leagaleze language to insert in the proper sentences to make your case more winnable. You can only try at this point. Also you know Interrogatories and Request for Production and Request for Admissions? Got a handle on them? Who knows? You just might win your end of the suit.

That's probably going to be the best answer you're going to get right now so you might as well go for it and do it yourself as you seem bent on doing it yourself anyway regardless of what we here have to say. I still don't understand what a rape case has to do with your parent's gas fitting case. Makes no sense to me but then I'm up in LaLa Land, Ohio.
