So, I think you should sue 'em. That way, you'll get the only legal opinion that counts, and that's the judges. I'll only cost you about $50 to sue in small claims court, and that's cheaper than getting an opinion from a lawyer who may or may know...
The only problem, is that you have to have been damaged in order to sue. If you don't pay the bill, you're not out anything... So if YOU want to sue, pay the bill and file suit as the plaintiff.
If you want to BE sued, tell 'em, you'll see 'em in court, and when they sue YOU, you'll be the defendant... The plaintiff has to prove his case before the defendant has to say a word.
I don't know. I still think you don't have a case... But, let us know, will you?
