Hey Lotti, Do u know any other SAFE and effective whitening pills?. bcoz you know... not all types off Glutathione are good... if you don't mind wot's your natural skin colour... r u very dark skinned... coz depends on how dark you are... may be you could see the results after 3 months by using Lucida... or something like that...

    Hi sunaina from denmark:)

Well I`m looking now for several years for a skin lightening system that really works.
I used countless of creams which contained stuff like kojac acid, hydoquinon, vit c..,. stuff like obagi... eaten pills like all this l-glutathione pills (yess in the right way, dosis, long term:D... I know you sellers) even from Lucida DS, ganda, chemist`s shop around the corner... melatonin pills, and have done painfull treatments with fruit aicd peelings, laser treatment and so with no success so far!!

I also used homeopathy-products like "schüssler salze" - no success!!

Since 1 month I`m still using this bearberry tincture together with a cream called "THIOSPOT INTENSIVE SkIN CREAM LIGHTENING FORMULA" from "dermason". So far I could not see a success.

Hey sunaina! My sister been using lucida-ds and so far she told me that the lucida-ds has lighten her skin and she has dark skin.. And she told me how she only takes one pill a day instead or 2 or 3.becasue she said its working so fast on her that she takes only one pill so she doesn't overdo it... I notice how some people are saying that it doesn't work, well yes! It all depends on your skin color, if you are very dark it takes a while maybe a year or so and it also depends on the person too. Her friend had really dark skin and I mean dark and she also uses lucida-ds and from using it for a year or so, her skin is lighter, close to being a fair color. And I don't know if any of them are using vitamin grape c with it cause that also helps.. I also think that there are people out there who sell fake ones so be careful..

Hi, this is ramil in the philippines, I took 1 capsule lucida-ds the other day, after 10 minutes I felt bad! It's like I'm on a boat! It lasted for almost an hour, then gradually it subsided. Why is that? Is there a medical explanation for that?
  • Oct 16, 2007, 07:56 AM
    ramil
This is ramil again, is there any adverse negative effect or some sort of side effect in just 1 capsule of lucida-ds?

    Hi,
I don't use Lucida-DS cause commercial brands are all crappy! But I know how nutritions, antioxidants and vitamins work, I work as a biology/chem lab assistant, my face is light as an spaniard but my neck is darker so I didn't like the different.

I'm using these : Vitamin C 1000 x2 + L-Glutathione 250 x2 (any legit brand) + Biotin 1000 mcg x1 + COD LIVER OIL + Niacin (I stopped using this! It was flush free but I felt itchy after using it!)

outsmart commercial brands by recognizeing the parts of the pill! These pills are all the same! L-Glutathione is always L-Glutathione and its not going to be better if the brand name is active white or whatever! Use iherb.com I found them on Google product search engine and bought a sunscreen and two (japanese) L-Glutathione 250 from them! Cheap!

it depends on your skin color, I'm red and tanned so I can lighten my skin easier,

I seen changes in past 3 weeks, not very noticeable but u have to be patinet, I lived in a place with direct sun waves on my face! My parents are supposedly educated but bad for me they didn't use any sunscreen cream on my skin! Always use sunscreen! It's the most important thing I'm telling u! After 23 years of living in that kind of environment nobody can't become lighter in a matter of month or two! Be patient and ask more Questions...

sorry if my english is messed up

let me know if you found something new...

as far as I know its all Vitamins and L-Glutathione + niacinmide and some healthy acids and stuff! If you use it more than usual yes it will mess your body up! If u can't lighten your skin with the regular dosage by X2 and x3ing it u can hurt your system!

New findings : Vitamin K and Vitamin B-3 are effective in skin lightening, I only used Vitamin B-3 (Niacin) pills! But about Vitamin K:

Vitamin K is found in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and lettuce; Brassica vegetables such as kale, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts; wheat bran; organ meats; cereals; some fruits, such as avocado, kiwifruit and bananas; meats; cow milk and other dairy products; eggs; and soy products. Two tablespoons of parsley contains 153% of the recommended daily amount of vitamin K.[5]Olive oil contains a large amount of vitamin K.

Phylloquinone (vitamin K1) is the major dietary form of vitamin K. Vitamin K1 is found in chicken egg yolk, butter, cow liver, and most cheeses. It is also found in most types of mayonnaise.

!! So now you know you better eat your vegtables! Spinach! Lettuce! Cabbage! Brococoli! Cow liver! O my god! Give us a rest huh? I'm going to do these things!

Do you want to start with me? Somebody?

Skin lightening issue is very new in U.S., it's very old in Asia ( from mid-east to far Asia )

    what do u think?

    You're right.
Sometimes what pisses me off is that it's perfectly acceptable for people to tan but when someone wants to go lighter it's the worst thing ever! And they come out with crap like it's dangerous. Sunbeds are dangerous too but there's still thousands of shops out there that widely advertise it.

Hi everyone, thanks for your answers:) well I've been using Gluta-C which is containing same inrediants as DS pills but instead its bit cheaper, anyway I'm taking is for more than a month now, in the beginning I didn't feel anything happening, but right know I feel a good change in my skin on the other hand I feel dizzy after taking pills / feel like vomiting, but then this feeling is gone after an hour or so, I don't understand why it happens even though I'm taking pillz right before meal.

    SUNAINA,

Congrats on your results... I would like to know also why you are feeling dizzy after taking the pills.
What do you mean by seeing a good change in your skin? Are you meaning lightening? Or just getting smooth...

Dear :D Don't take pills right before meal! Take them right after the meal! Usually 15 minutes, more or less... ok? I beg u, then L-Gluta + C is making me dizzy to, our body is not ready for that much of antioxidants, try to exercise and eat properly, after 2-3 months we can pass that feeling, and try to start with lower dosages, like I am taking C 1000 + L-G 250 2x + Biotin + Cod liver gel + Topical Vitamin E and I feel so good, its my second week and I already can feel the differ... ;)

It is understandable to feel that way esp. if you take high concentrations of dietary supplement before meal. Our body will react in that manner trying to expel it but it will subside soon. I don't wait for an hourm only for 1/2 hr. Gluta-C is so effective that you don't need to be waiting for an hour to wait.

    Hello everyone,
Lucida ds does not work at all. Your just wasting your. I was on lucida ds for 1 entire year and nothing happened. Nothing. I read on another site today that lucida ds is not even made in the U.S I also read that it does not even have any glutathione in it. I still have some pill left over so I going to get them tested. I let you know the results.

Hey Brennan, did you know that FM dropped Amira magic cream, Yes, she stopped selling amira magic, sighting inconsistencies on formulation and rebound hyperpigmentation, did you talk to her about that?
Wow, she used to be so into defending this amira magic, who knows that she too will give up on it. Are you still using Gluta-C, I'm down to 3 times a week now as maintenance.
Goodluck to you Sushaina! Keep us posted.:)

Patojen, we all know that Lucida-ds is a scam, they are better off selling there in the Philippines otherwise I know some customers who purchased Lucida-ds that has a pending lawsuit against them.
Don't trust anyone that sells glutathione from outside US, they are full of scammers!

I haven't tried any, but the most recent whitening pills that I heard effective and "safe" (I cannot be so sure because I haven't tried it either) is Gluta-C.This is what Im planning to take... There are lots of negative comments about lucida-ds... don't know about meta... :)

Lucida is a great product, It helped me and my family a lot. But beware today because a lot are envious of lucida. People out there who wants to destroy lucida sell fake ones. I think that's the reason why in the news they said lucida is fake. Im a user so I know Lucida is no fake. Beware of fake lucida-ds/vaniderm.

I'v been using lucida for 2 months now ahmm I see some changes but one thing confused me that lucida ds was tested that it was lack of gluta inside... they say 500 mg of gluta but when it tested it is less than 500 mg of gluta.. so bcoz of that I'm still thinking about if I finish d remaining tablets if I will buy it again...
