product, what may not work for your friend may just be perfect for you.

Before Fair and Flawless I used Hydroquinone products and I still have no
problem with those. I think Fair and Flawless was the first natural skin lightener I used.

But I do like to try others, Diana Stalder worked for me, African Queen worked, Hollywood Secret Cream worked ect.. Most skin lightening products
work for me except for two of them, one I tried to make myself and another
one I bought called Skin Bleach by The Spa Basin but this cream looked
just like the homemade cream I tried to make, you can see bits of the powder
in the cream, it did not dissolve well, that's probably why it did not work for
    me.

One cream I have always wanted to try is Godiva Skin Lightening Cream. I've
known about this product for years but have not tried it yet, I heard it works
best on asian skin but I still wanted to see for myself because they do have a
couple of testimonials on their site who are not asian posting it worked for them.

What is the active ingredients in this fair and flawless

The active ingredient in Fair and Flawless is Sepiwhite.
I just got a jar and I see they changed the formula of the cream again.
I don't like it!! It feels like a gel now instead of a cream, I think it's the aloe vera gel they added, I don't think that was in the cream before. I remember way back when I think I read in a magazine that
Aloe was good for the skin and I went and bought a small jar. Right
After you apply it, you can touch your skin and it feels a bit sticky.
It took a while for it to absorb, that's how this new cream feels.

It's going to take a little getting used to but I'm still going to use it. I
Wonder if they have any left over jars of the old formula?

I purchased some aloe vera juice one time, bought a big half gallon at
Wal-Mart. Goodness... the things I used to do to get clear skin!! Lol

Maybe you guys can help me with this prob. I'm new to this forum and I'd like to know what you guys think about my problem. I'm hispanic and have an olive/dk tan complexion. I love my natural color as I'd never want to be white but my forearms have gotten so dark this summer that I look two toned! My chest, tummy and legs are my regular olive/tan color but my arms are a very dark brown. What should I do to make my arms match my chest and upper arms? I hate that I can't wear sleeveless tops cz my arms are two toned - I kind of have a farmers tan! HELP!! Thanks in advance

I'm not too familiar with skin lightening lotions only skin lightening facial creams but that is what you'd need toget to lighten up your arms.

Try some skin lightening lotions and don't forget the sunblock!

    Let me see...
I have used the cream off and on, I need to be more consistent with my skin
Regime because I keep wondering off trying other products.

Sacha Cosmetics : Yellow based makeup foundation, liquid, cream foundation makeup.

Scroll down and look at the different skin tones.

I think I went from Perfect Spice to Perfect Honey. How many shades is that?
My goal is Perfect Caramel. I know if I would have kept using it
More, because I've read posts about it taking a couple months maybe a year
To get to a really light shade. The problem with me is I keep stopping, try
Another products or don't use any skin lightening creams at all.

Now that I have incorporated Retin A into my routine which is really helping
With the lightening and smoothing out my skin I think I can get there. And I
    Have to keep it up.

Doesn't make any sense for me to buy all these products through the years,
Lightening creams and peels and I still look the same because I was not consistent. I'm putting my foot down this time and sticking to it!!

I really mean it this time. I really really do. LOL! :p

    The powder is 1.8oz / 50g ($43.90).
The recipe calls for 2g to make a 2% cream.

Recommended use level 1-2%, must be melted for use (best in oil phase of formula at 80oC/176oF). Optimal pH <5 or >6.2 for best incorporation into formulas. Insoluble but miscible in water

    Melt it with what:confused:
How do you check the ph?
    Never mind...

    I rather purchase the cream 1oz ($49.95).
No mixing, no melting, just open up the jar and enjoy.:D

hey nikicute.. its good to see your bak.. I haven't seen one of your posts in a while (mayb its just me not checking in)
I have been using fair and flawless for the last 4 yearss... on and off.. mostly for my melasma.. it used to work great.. but left my skin so dry.. but then again I used their body 5X gel on my face.. it was like 150$ pretty expensive... but I thought it was worth

I have used bio claire.. I still have it... but it didn't really do anything to me..
    godiva.. did not work..
    hq worked 4%...

what is african queen and hollywood secret?

I also want to be a perfect caramel... basically I am.. but my arms and feet have gotten so much darker that I look gross... but its so hard to lighten those areas.. I guess because there "rough" areas... I don't know

I think I'm going to try the f&f again for a while lets see what happens..

Have we met or chatted before?
Your ID does not look familiar to me, since I have not been here in a
while I don't remember the regulars from before.

You used the 5X gel on your face:eek:
No wonder your skin was so dry!
That gel is for the body only.

Now I see they have come out with a 80xF Facial Whitening Gel:confused:
I want to see the ingredients list first, they don't have on the site.

Never tried Godiva or Bio Claire. Every time I see Bio Claire I keep thinking
everybody is talking about Bio Oil because I've seen the commercial on t.v.
The 4% hq cream worked great on my skin.

African Queen is one of the many skin lightening creams I have used.
No doubt it was a hq cream, the cream looked hot pink and smelled so good.

Hollywood Secret Cream was the cream that brought me to the skin
lightening boards in 2003. Before that I had no idea other people were
like me, wanting to lighten their complexion.
I first saw the cream online in 2000.
The before and after pictures were unbelievable!

    Remember that show MARTIN ?
With Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell.
That's how the before and after pictures looked like, the lady in the
before picture was the same complexion as Martin and then the after she
    looked like Tisha Campbell!

I tried the product and it was working, a little bit of peeling came with it.
Someone posted on the board that the cream smelled just like Clear Essence.
Even though it came in a jar the product inside was like a lotion, I was not
expecting that and almost spilled the whole thing.
Just my luck that when I wanted to order some more they stopped making it
and switched to making some lemon cream:rolleyes: Never heard of any
lemon cream strong enough to lighten the skin, so I did not order.
