I use hydroquinone 4% and tretinoin. I think my skin is already used to this. I feel like I need something a little stronger. I tried to make my own hydroquinone cream at home, but I couldn't get it to work... Now I donno what to do next...

So how long have you been on this HQ/RA regime. Did you not see any lightening then ? Are you also making sure you are using sunblock every day?
Its been about over a year now. It seems like it lightened me a little bit at first, but then slowly it started to darken again. I think my skin has build tolerance to it or something. I may need to try something new... I do use sunscreen, and stay out of the sun. I don't think I'm ever outside more than 5 minutes unless I'm driving back and forth from work or something... so I'm unsure...
Can anyone tell me which one of the mentioned creams is good for use on the face? And if I should use it with anything else like a serum etc exact names would be great
Thank you
vit fee is good on the face I no longer use bio claire on my face I'm so glad this product is working for me... and it not breaking me out like bio claire did...
Is there anything other than vit fee and bio clair that's good for the face?
Talking about lotions one has used... I just bought one of my must use lotions again after a long time! I remember when I was using it,I went to school one day and one guy actually followed me and asked me what I was using... yup a guy! Lol
It is Clear Tone of F&W... I was using it with F&W lightening crème.Yup... I know it has HQ,but it was so so good on me! I know it will do wonders! My Lait 90 is almost done... the one I mixed with arbutin, kojic acid and bearburry. When it is finished,I will step into the next! I still purchased 55H+ tube because it is working well.
As for Lait 90... no.It is not going to be on my purchase list because it stains and it hasn't really done much of a difference. But when I mixed it with the skin actives,it did work better. So more skin actives... but not in Lait 90. What again? Will keep you posted!
Unfortunately hyperpigmentation can be super hard to lighten and can take months to maybe even a year to lighten... I had a melasma mark that took almost 9 months maybe longer to lighten... I would say if you have not already talk to a dermatologist, and see what they say... My cousin had to use obagi for 96 weeks to lighten her hyperpigmentation on her face and she is very lightskinned.
It sucks to hear it but maybe its not that nothing works, but that you just have to commit more time to a certain product than others... or even combine many products... you also have to be careful because you may have a tendency to scar and darken more...
How about using benoquin? I hear that will lighten your skin. I am wondering, could you post a picture of before you used the cream and how you look now? If you do not wish to post it here you can email it to me.
Benoquin (Monobenzone) does not lighten skin, but rather depigment the skin and should not be used unless you have vitiligo. One of the main processes of mono/benoquin is that you will have to go through a long phase of white spots forming on the body until the skin completely depigs and it is permanent.
Oh my God LoanyB! I'm thanking you forever, you saved me a lot of money & time. I want to ask you and the other wonderful people on this site, about only using ratin-a as a lightening cream? Whether it is strong enough to lighten a dark person?
Thank you all.
Is this the product your talking about click this http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/sterlingsilv..._2106_14595530
Retin-a (Ra) mostly helps to aide in the skin lightening process espeically when used with an effective skin lightening product. But from studies, Ra can give mild lightening results mostly due to exfoliation and removal of dead skin cells, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and tanning. Though if you really want to see lightening results, it works better in conjunction with a skin lightening product as it also helps the penetration process of lightening ingredients.
Thank you Golden_Girl for your prompt answer. Can you also please sugest to me what other strong lightening creams that I can mix with the ratina, which the my doctor prescribed for me?
Again thanks sweetie.
I had compiled a detailed list in my link
