That sucks!
I've noticed the more popularly, purchased, discussed lightening products (such as Fair&Lovely, Melederm, Crystaline), the less effective they actually are!
Why is that? Placebo effects or something?

Oh wow one person didn't get results after using it for most likely less than 20 days (the recommended minimum period on the package) and suddenly it's a product that's not effective.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions, people. Of course it won't work for everyone probably, but for some people it's obviously been working.
OK and what's your point? My face got darker so don't think that I'm lazy and I'm expecting fast results its just something happened that wasn't supposed to happen! I don't care if I used it less than a week or less than a day, if some weird is happening I'm going to stop.
And @ vicky, where did you get that info from? There's nothing on the package that says wait 20 days for results what are you talking about?
Like I said, the lotion worked on my body, the glycerin did nothing for my face and neck and I'm moving on to rosance.
Ok so Im not sure if any of you are using any of the 55H+ lotions/creams with your regimen, but I am using the 55H+ Performance Multi Action lotion with the green label, and I just took a shower and applied and noticed some yellowing of the cream around the opening of the bottle... like crusted yellow cream... should I be concerned; is this common with natural ingredients or does this indicate a small level of HQ? Has anyone else noticed this with their 55H+ lotions??
My mother has the one with the orange writing on it. Not sure what it's called. But it doesn't have any yellowing. So maybe you should be a little concerned. Check the dates on the bottle maybe?
Hey Sagluva! I LOVE the fish oil pills too. And they don't make my skin lighter. But they make it BRIGHTER. Like it gives it this amazingly healthy glow if that makes any sense. And yes! They keep my skin clear. I love them soooo much. What effects is it having on your skin?
^ fish oils? Whatta about good 'ol cod liver? Will that help lighten me? :)
Cod liver oil... eewww.
How long did it take for you all to see the benefits of the Fish oils and what doses do you take?
It took maybe about 5 days? And I take between 3-6 pills a day. One day 3 next day 4 next 3 next day 5 next day 3 next day 6. You have to be careful because it can cause blood thinning and internal bleeding if you really OD on it.
Don't all those fish oil pills give you fish burps? I used to take two a day and I could not stand the lingering smell of fish oil that came up when I burped. If you use a brand that doesn't give fish burps (there are some out there I think) please do share. My brand was Nature Made
Yeah. I burp like CRAZY. But that is not much of a sacrifice when it comes to getting clear skin!
:p
*BURP!*
Lol... fish burps, that's funny. I may have to take a small dose then as I am anemic and can't afford to have thinned blood. But, maybe 1 or 2 pills a day may be best for me along with vitamin c since omega fatty acids are very good for the health?
I would suggest asking your doctor first. To see what she/he recommends. When I get back home I'm going to ask my mother to take me to the doctor so I can see what she recommends. I haven't had any bad side effects (by the grace of God), but I'm just one of those people that likes to be extra careful. It's actually pretty RARE. Very RARE to have any bad side effects from taking fish oil pills. You'd have to be like taking ten a day. Lol.
I agree. Best to talk with the doc and see what they suggest. I only want to take enough to have nice clear skin and any other benefits.
How is the 55H+ lightening coming along Brown?
I haven't seen any results yet with the Crystalline and Im getting antsy, and thinking maybe its not strong enough for me... Im still sticking it through at least until I get my new products in the mail. So discouraged right now =-(
I don't know. I'll have to ask her. So many posts and products being posted I forget.
Im embarrassed to say a little over a week collectively... but see I know when something's working because even within a week I see inklings of microscopic spots that have lightened on my skin, you know what I mean? Like take the Bio Claire, within a week I saw even the slightest of results, even if I had to squint to see it. So its like I know I should be patient but at the same time I know my skin and maybe this isn't potent enough for what Im trying to do... and it would suck to wait a month down the line and see zero results. I don't know... is it just me or has no one updated with their Crystalline progress lately? Is anyone still using?
It's a New Day, I know you want to see results now as I can also be impatient at times. But one week is very little to do it justice. It takes 28 days to have a skin cell turnover and really see results. I don't know how this will work on lightening for you, only time will tell. But to truly know it's best to give it 4 weeks. And also continue to exfoliate and use high spf sunblock. That's the best way to know if it works for you or not.
Bio Clair is a different story and that was an artificial lightening with the use of large doses of steroids. Steroids can lighten very quickly also because it thins the skin, making it practically transparent. So I wouldn't consider them a true skin lightener and x them out. That's my advice anyway.
28 days? Wow. Great. Lol. 3 more weeks to go then I guess. Thanks for the heads up. You're right, comparing Bio Claire to non deadly products is like comparing apples and oranges of course.
I never put it on more than twice a day in most cases if even that. I was putting it on EVERYDAY though. And I had to slow down because I was looking way too light.
Maharani I'll still update until I stop using no problem
Brown Deceit it's a bit difficult to apply this more than once a day for me because it's so darn sticky and I feel like I have a coating of molasses sitting on my skin especially after applying the lotion on top, but I'm still hanging in there and did I mention how jealous I was of your quick results?:)
Oh that sounds nice... well I'm ordering mine tonight or by tomorrow morning, I have my list of what all to get. After I order I'll post it on a thread.
Lol... oh I didn't mean the molasses sticky part, that would be uncomfortable. I meant Brown's comment on how light it was lightening.
Hi guys... im new to this crystalline thing and have no idea about it... can you please tell me that where can I buy it and how safe is it to use ? Is there any side effects of this ? I have an indian skin and using likas right now which has helped me 1-2 tones and using kojic acid for my face which is maintaining my tone... but I am eager to use this as this does sound promising... please help.
I'm sorry it's not working as quickly for you. :(
I agree too, good to give it required time to see if it's effective for your skin. And everyone's skin is different, what works for some may not work for others.
Desikudi glad to hear the Likas soap has been working well for you. It is known to be more of a gentle product, you'll have to try it to see how it works for you.
Yea the Likas is good
I ordered on Friday and I hate when I have to wait the whole weekened to get something in the mail... today I'm looking for that little post slip in my box LOL... :D I'm just a bit worried about the whole sticky skin thing LOL... and I can imagine it will bbuild up if I'm using my own homemade arbutin cream too...
