    Hello Galfije,

I tried to private message you but I guess you have that feature turned off.

I wanted to know where did you see the information for the Tonique 10x Intense Skin Whitening Cream ingredients? They don't look the same compared to the Fair and Flawless ingredients anymore:confused:

The Tonique Green Tea Moisturizing Whitening Lotion does not have any ingredients list next to the product description and I see the price has gone up from $59.95 to $79.95 which is the same price as the Fair and Flawless lightening lotion.

2.All the pages on the entire site can be traced to back several different websites.

    4. No company information, no product sizes etc.
    5. The toll free number is forwarded to a sprint pcs cell phone number 443.768.5024
    6. The before and after photos are stolen from the following websites:

    7. All the product reviews were written on the same date.
    8. Most of post/blogs on the products are posted by a "MARSHA" yet when I contacted the toll free number a "MARSHA" spoke to me. My personal opinion = STAY AWAY.
Buyer beware there are so many RED flags that SCREAMS SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Here is a post of mine from a blog mentioning Tonique Skin Lightening:

RENEE: I find it hard to believe that you used Fair and Flawless then used Tonique with no problems since they are pretty much the same product with many of the same ingredients. There are even two Tonique products who names are similar to that of a Fair and Flawless product. If you take a close look around you'll notice the Tonique site is even modeled after the Fair and Flawless website. It's no coincidence that whenever Tonique is mentioned so is Fair and Flawless.

In conclusion I think Tonique is either a competitor who has seen the success of Fair and Flawless and wants to "one up" them by advertising their cream/gel as 10x stronger or they are a company/person who is private labeling Fair and Flawless, nothnig wrong with wanting to start your own business.

I actually applaud the person who put the site together, they did a great job in my opinion. It is hosted on Volusion which is a very professional site hosting company (not saying scammers don't host sites with high ranking companies and make the site look good).

I remember when Fair and Flawless first came out in 2004/2005:confused:
There was a customer who was so impressed with their products she decided to start selling it herself, I think she named it NuSkin, I forgot...

My point is this, there are some who want to start their own business by selling whatever merchandise they choose and who are so gung ho they sort of jump the gun and not take their time. Using before and after photo's, copying and pasting paragraphs from other sites and making up testimonials because you could not wait for real ones to come in is where others are going to start to look at your site/company as a scam.

I think that is what got W.O.E. (worldofentertainment) and their skin creams into trouble with skin lightening board members. There are members like myself who have been playing this skin lightening game for a loooooooong time. We have seen and heard it all. I don't know how many skin lightening websites I've been to, but when someone post a pic in the back of my mind I'm thinking "I know I've seen that picture before!!!" It doesn't take too long to find it either. Lol

If a product works the way it is advertised to do it there would be no need for the fake testimonials and photo's. Now I don't know if Tonique had those kinds of photos because all of findings Indian Princess and Galfije posted are no longer there:confused: Perhaps there is someone who may have something to do with the site edited it somehow. Not sure about those testimonials, don't know why they all have the same date, never seen that before.

It sounds like Tonique is pretty controversial. LOL!! Anyhow, I can say I have tried a lot of things and this is one of the best that I have tried so far. I have been using it for 3 months and haven't had any problems. I don't know anything about the stuff you guys are talking about but, I can tell you it works! I have spent a lot of money on creams and gels to make my skin look better and I like this product so I am going to keep on using it until I find something better. I don't want to upset anyone here you guys seem extremely passionate about your lightening products. LOLLLL!

    THANK YOU FATHER!! :)

    I knew it!
The minute she was accused of being a seller she pretty much baled out of this thread fast.(page 4 post#31 and #33). I pm'd her and she would never answer any of my questions. You'd think someone who used the product would want to help someone else out right? I mean this is askmehelpdesk.

    Page 3 post #28
galfijej posted about the look a like site with customer service information
Ingredient lists for the Facial Lightening Cream and Whitening Lotion having
    The same information.

She comes back as WhiteandLight page 4 post #38 posting of bio claire, (see
You have to throw people off by talking about another product, you just can't
Go straight into the product your trying to sell), which she did at the very
Next post (post #39) guess she couldn't wait.

Page 7 post #63 Indian Princess post new information about the Tonique
Website. The before and after photos taken from another site, product reviews written by the same person and all having the same date.

Page 7 AbbyCute comes back. Now this is when I had a feeling AbbyCute and
WhiteandLight were the same person. (they both joined April 2009). Post #67 when WhitheandLight agrees with AbbyCute about Tonique.
That post was so obvious to me and apparently to ladydanielle (page 8 post #77) who is no doubt a member of the brighter skin forum, they always use
    The word scammy.

Now in the mean time in between time the site information is being edited
With chucks of information being removed in direct response to what is
    being said in this thread.
Coincidence? I think not! Before and after pics are gone, ingredient list gone from the lotion, and the cream list of ingredients has been edited, phone number gone, customer service info missing paragraphs, lot's of white space on the site now.

Attempts at improvements are being made though. The phone number is back and they now have added sizes to the product description again these
Are in direct response to what was being posted in this thread.

Still no answer from AbbyCute in pm and no answer from Tonquie to my second question I asked 6 days ago. WhiteandLight and I were chattnig in pm. Now WhiteandLight and AbbyCute no longer except private messages and Shantifive came in not excepting private messages.

I still think Shantifive is also another id. Notice only one post praising a product and posting her continuous support "to your company".
Who's company is she talking about? Don't know because as you can see
(page 13 post#122 #123 ) she did not answer my question to which product she was referring to.

Oh well... it's all over and done with for this vendor in this forum.
I know for a FACT this company has nothing to do with Fair and Flawless.
I suggest being more honest when trying to sell your wares.

Skinactives.com sells Alpha Arbutin you can add to any lotion.
(use Product Catalog, drop down menu to Quick Purchase Product List).

I purchased it before but I don't think I mixed it right. I added the whole
Tube to the Canvas Base Cream they offer. Maybe I should have added something else to it or mixed it in something more liquid in consistency.

That was my first and last attempt at trying to make my own skin lightening cream. Perhaps I'll just add it to a product to make it more
Stronger instead of trying to make it from scratch.

AHA is alphy hydroxy acid such as glycolic acid or lactic acid. I like both of them, just can't choose between the two! :D
You can get AHA from ANYWHERE! They come in forms of creams, lotions, facial washes and even peels.
I don't know where to get larger sizes of arbutin from, mine was just a small pot for the face. :)

First of all- dark skin does not exfoliate and peel like lighter skin. Any cream you use will work better by using glycolic acid to keep peeling your skin. I found some glycolic acid 35% cream in TJ Maxx. They have some beautiful creams from europe. And that cream I use night and day and my skin is clear and lighter now. I mixed a cream of sunscreen, pure glycolic acid 35%, kojic acid 2% and HQ 2%. Im also on the L'MAJ pills. I can see a difference. My husband even commented that I look lighter.

    About.com:
When treating acne in skin of color, special care must be taken. It is often (wrongly) believed that darker skin is tougher than it's lighter counterparts. Actually, brown skin can be very sensitive, and must be treated very gently.

    Seattletimes.nwsource.com:
Contrary to popular belief, darker skin is not tougher; in fact, while extra melanin does have its benefits sun protection and slowed signs of aging it makes the skin more sensitive and vulnerable to injury.

"If the skin is darker it is prone to scarring and hyper-pigmentation, so we have to be more careful with skin of color," says Terri Dunn, a Berkeley, Calif., dermatologist. One-third of Dunn's patients are of Latin, Asian, Indian, Mediterranean or African descent, and thus require special skin care.

    LOL!

I just knew it couldn't be true.
I would not have a dermatologist or esthetician tell me they are going to apply
A stronger peel simply because my skin is darker.

I know what my skin can and cannot take when it comes to peels because I
Have been doing them myself right at home.

Ok I think I'm going to try something different! What I'm using now is good but I need something stronger so I'm getting kojic acid lotion from funkymommy.net and the alpha arbutin powder from skinactives.com. I'm going to mix the powder and the lotion and hopefully it will make the lotion stronger. I've read some good results on both of the products (there both safe) and I think combined they will a good skin lightening solution!

It is tougher because it visibly does not age like other skin. Everyone with eyeballs can see that. Yes when there is a mixture like I'm (26% european) the skin is sensitive and not as thick but hey I don't have time to argue I got better things to do with my time.you want to win you win.

Not getting any argument from me, your just simply wrong in your statement
That darker skin is "tougher" than lighter skin.

"Dark skin is a blessing as it relates to sun damage and aging,
a 50-year-old woman of color often looks 40, while a white woman of the same age might look 10 years older than her real age." says Susan C. Taylor, M.D., director of the Skin of Color Center in New York and author of Brown Skin: Dr. Susan Taylor's Prescription for Flawless Skin, Hair and Nails (HarperCollins, 2003).

The reason darker skin ages well is because of the melanin in the skin not
    Because of it's "toughness".

Yes I do favor Fair and Flawless as the best natural product for skin lightening
That I have used, I don't think the price (of the facial cream) is not that bad
And you can't always go by what your friend or others have said about a
Product, what may not work for your friend may just be perfect for you.

Before Fair and Flawless I used Hydroquinone products and I still have no
Problem with those. I think Fair and Flawless was the first natural skin lightener I used.

But I do like to try others, Diana Stalder worked for me, African Queen worked, Hollywood Secret Cream worked etc.. Most skin lightening products
Work for me except for two of them, one I tried to make myself and another
One I bought called Skin Bleach by The Spa Basin but this cream looked
Just like the homemade cream I tried to make, you can see bits of the powder
In the cream, it did not dissolve well, that's probably why it did not work for
    Me.

One cream I have always wanted to try is Godiva Skin Lightening Cream. I've
Known about this product for years but have not tried it yet, I heard it works
Best on asian skin but I still wanted to see for myself because they do have a
Couple of testimonials on their site who are not asian posting it worked for them.
