Do any one knows if your skin will turn back to its orginal color

U should use AVOBENZONE cream to get back your colour.

    Hello,

I realize this question is quite old, but I couldn't help responding! I have also been a mono user. I start a little less than a year ago. I also had results similar to yours (and still do around my neck and chin). What I have done to rid myself of this leather like skin is called a tca peel 50%. I will take several tca peels at this strength to completely unveal your beautiful skin again! I have already done 3 tca peels at 50% over the past 6 months on my face, neck, and chest. I'd say I still have 2-3 more to go before all of the darker skin and spots are gone. I only use mono once a week, now. It well take time and PATIENCE! But my results so far have been priceless. Please make certain you are wearing sunscreen at all times!

Hope this helps. Good luck! :)

    Hi mcgm802820,

Yes, I used mono morning and night. During the beginning I did mix my mono with vitamin e oil and I had been using it at 5% (from my chest down). I started noticing my skin (full body) begin to get extremely dry. Afterward my skin became very wrinkly (right before peeling). My skin peeled a little over a week after using this regime. I was very shocked, as I have never used ANYTHING which such quick result. I did use mono 20% on my face, neck, and chest only... as mono is very expensive for me. My face, chest, and neck have pretty much depig. There are a few areas that I will reapply tca peel at 50% strength. I don't regret using this. At the very beginning, I cried because my skin had gotten extremely darker. It will take time, patience, and courage. Here are some of the things I use even now to help maintain my color.

    .exfoliating scrub
    .kojic acid soap
.mono 5% on body (mixed with vit e oil)
    .neutrogena spf 85 over body
.mono 20% on face, neck, and chest
.neutrogena age shield spf 70 on face
.tca peel 50% once every 4 weeks (only if needed)
.vit c serum (to inhibit melanin)

I really hope this helps you like it has helped me! :D

    Good luck! :)

Hi chassypoodle, I just started to use mono a week ago. Any suggestions will help. I use 20% on my hands and feets only. The first week went OK and hands and feets lighter a bit. But, I started to get red rushes and irritation at the beginning of the second week. So, I stop. I mix my own mono since I got powder from an Indian friend. After a week, the rush and irritation went away. I am thinking to re-start with 5%. Any suggestion ?
I mix my mono powder with sunscreen lotion, hand santizer, vaseline, aloe vera gel. Thanks a lot for your help.
