No prob, it's cool. Hey when are you going to send me the before and after picts? You can only show me a portion, you do not have to show the whole face. Did you get the chance to see my before and after picts?

Golden_Girl,
Is that Sade on your avatar?
I am going to buy Mequinol once someone reports back if it works or not. Don't forget to report back please! Lol
Sade? No, no that is me... :p
Yep that's Sade, she has always been my favorite singer and I love this photo. So, my goal is to reach her complexion and effectively maintain, or at least quite close. I also, love her eyebrows.. speaking of eyebrows we were talking on another thread with the fake eyebrows and the eyebrow and eyelash growth growth. So,
I guess you just answered the question I asked :)
Golden_Girl,
Sade is lovely. I saw her years ago, when she lived near the school I went to. She's really lovely . Unfortunately, never had the nerve to go up to her, but then again sometimes celebrities don't want to be approached and would rather be left alone.
Do you know if she is still doing music ? I used to love her songs.
So do I.
Wow Maharani you are so lucky! I never met anyone famous before, other than local celebs, so I wouldn't know how I would react if I ever met her. Many of her songs has helped me through really hard times. Yes she has been recording for her next album and from what I heard it is supposed to be out before this year ends. I posted on her site a couple of times and others are awaiting as well.
Hey Golden_Girl, I bought the mequinol and have been using it extremely sparingly as it is 10%! It kind of scares me. I use it with my tret and my skin hasn't fallen off or had in white markings or anything freakish... but right now it is way too soon to tell.
Great Dessaml. How long have you been using it for now? How much does it sting? I wish you much luck so continue to keep us updated. Thanks.
If it was purchased from goldpharma, then it is without the tretonin. The mequinol comes in a tube and has a vaseline type consistency.
Here's her site if you want to stay updated News | The Official Sade Site, well this is the U.S. site
Thanks for the info, just had a quick look. Will check it out properly later.
Has anyone on here used menoquil, I placed an irder for it and still waiting to receive it
I am currently using it, but I'm using it EXTREMELY carefully as it is 10% and it scares me. Not only that it BURNS! And I'd like to consider myself a skin vetran having toughed out some pretty high percentage chemical peels but damn... it's no fun putting it on... BUT... I looked at myself in the mirror today... and it appears to be working for my hyperpigmentation.
Hey dessaml what's your mixture and how did you make it?
I'm purchasing mine when I get my money the end of the month :D
I mix it with my tretenoin, I won't lie I looked like freddie kruger the first week, but peeling has decresed a lot, so in my mind it's worth it to torture myself if it means in the end I'll have nice skin. It's comforting to begin seeing pretty skin peeking through, but I'm not a mequniol expert! I am experimenting myself.
If my face falls off I'll be sure to post pics so everyone can have a good laugh:)
Let's hope everything stays where it should eh?! :D
Lol... I hope your face won't fall off. But that's great that your seeing some results... as they say sometimes you have to go through pain for beauty... lol. I wonder how it would lighten my hands?
Welcome KRIS P KRIS, I have not yet tried mequinol, but from what I have read it can lighten the skin very well but it is strong and makes the skin feel like it is burning. Try doing a Google search, and you can also try reading these for starters:
http://www.drugs.com/cdi/mequinol-tretinoin.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mequinol
Is menquinol permanent. From some I heard so while others disagree.
What about a combo of
Monobenzone and solage (MENQUINOL AND tretinoin)
What should someone start using to lighten up a bit and then lighten up a lot until I am light skinned and then use for a more permanent effect.
KRIS P KRIS,
You need to think very carefully before you decide to use mono. If you read some of the threads on it, it will give you a better idea of the sort of results people have had. It is definitely not something to be entered into lightly.
Why don't you try to lighten your skin first before you go depigging it
Most people who go for mono are those who have failed with lightening products
KRIS P KRIS,
By the way, once you decide on your lightening route, you need to make sun protection your friend otherwise there's no point. You have already mentioned your Disneyworld incident, so a good sunblock is a must.
I agree, depigging and lightening are two different things. Using mono will depig your skin and you should read other's experiences here on the forum as much as you can. Start with a lightener that is mild and temporary and then try maintaining your results and always use a good sunblock, I prefer spf 70 or higher. Read up on some of the lighteners that others are using here successfully. And also start learning more about good and bad lightening ingredients in products.
Thanks. Anything other than sunscreen is needed to retain that tone?
Is spf 70 extremely thick for like the beach or is it more something for like everyday use.
Also is it really possible to go from this

To this

Using either the solage or 55h+ cristaline?
I really love the Neutrogena spf 70 or 85, they also have spf 90 and 100. No, it is not thick, it easily absorbs in the skin really well and there's no white chalky look. You have to apply it 15-20 minutes before you go out, and reapply during the day if your going to be out for longer. With using a sunblock you still may get some tanning, but the tanning will be minimal and you still have to maintain with a skin lightener a few times a week.
