I cut back on using likas papaya soap on my face, too strong maybe because I'm using the retin-a as well. So, I'm using it just for the body including the neck instead.
Well, the Likas is only papaya (papain). And the Diana Stalder is papaya and kojic acid (made from malting rice). Both are good. I believe the Likas is helping to clear my acne, unsure if it's responsible for lightening my spots. I think the retin-a/hq gel has been helping mainly with lightening the spots and w/my acne (retina).
Hi, TCA is not good for African American skin and the percentage you are using will be too low to see results. I would recommend glycolic acid or lactic acid for African American skin in a percentage of 35%-40%. It works really well but you will look like h3ll at first!!
You are supposed to start with a low percentage of the TCA peels and work your way up to the 18% or 20%, etc. You should be starting at like a 10%.
