I know the feeling. When I had lightened, many people who I knew years back couldn't recognize me or barely noticed me. A good sign that lets you know that your reaching your goal.

i never had to melt my hq i bought mine in a 4oz powder form that you can just add half a tea spoon in 2% body lotion close the cap and shake it then use it half a teaspoon is 2%, the other user probably bought theres in crystals that only chemist know how to properly prepare

fair and white such useless overpriced products!! F-U FAIR AND WHITE MAKERS! none of there creams or anything work dont waste your money on that expensive rubbish if you are going to buy anything from them only buy their AHA soap in the orange box

Where do you purchase the clear and smooth aha soap from?

You're lucky because it sounds like your Mum is supportive of what you are doing. I know my Mum wouldn't be too pleased. She has said to me before that I look like I need to get some sun, because my face looks pale, but I am not sure whether she thinks that I am doing anything. I know that she definitely prefers darker skin tones.

U should be lucky maharani! My family calls me the BLACK sheep of the family :(

Sorry to hear that Cutenose, that's sad. Well, my ex's sisters said things like that to me as well and were so hateful. I wonder how the others that give you a hard time will react once you reach your goal. They will probably be speechless. I hate labels too.

NO doubt they will find another nasty nick name. There are so many mean people. What ever happened to being kind to each other. It should always be that if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all. I wonder if these people realise how much their words hurt but maybe it is more about their own insecurities, that they feel the need to express themselves in such a way, as to deflect from how they feel about themselves.

You are right Maharani, they will always find something to say and some name to call. "if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all", many I guess choose to ignore this quote but it has much vaule. Instead they do as they wish. Perhaps the objective was to hurt others in order to make themselves feel better... to mask their insecurities as you had mentioned. I think such issues should somehow be addressed if possible.

I used Fair & White Exclusive. I used the soap, the whitenizer serum, and the gel (ALL IN THE BLUE BOX OR GOLD BOXES). I ordered from Texas Beauty Supply. I used it in 2007 because I had dark marks on my face from acne. I never tried it on my body or all over my face. I only applied it to the dark spots.

My routine 2x a day

Wash with soap
Apply the gel with a q-tip and let dry
Apply serum with q-tip and let dry.

Summary...
Day 7- my spots started to turn red

Day 14- my spots started to turn darker. However, the dark circles around my eyes and above my lip finally disappeared after 28 years! I mean I looked soooooo awake.

Day 18 After I washed my face I would let it dry. I would then take a DRY wash cloth and exfoliate the dark area. The dark areas would literally rub off and reveal my natural skin color

Day 24 I started to get white spot on area's I NEVER applied the cream. I began to worry.

Day 30 - Everything cleared up! I was able to leave the house without make up. I swear to all of you I cried almost every time I looked in the mirror. I looked fantastic.

I had to irritation or bad reactions. Fast forward to now 2010. My face is still light,but once again it is full of dark spots from acne. When I used F&W my skin was super smooth and acne free. UNFORTUNATELY, I have a light face and darker body. Will I go so far as to say it's permanent, well maybe. When I go in the sun my face does not get darker, just my body does. I can't afford to buy enough cream to do my whole body... that would be multiples of hundreds since the bottles are soooo small. I tried the Exclusive lotion and it did nothing except make me smell like onions... it sticks.

All in all I had success with Fair and White Exclusive line. To bad I have nothing to use on my body. On the plus side, you do not have to use this product for longer than 30 days MAX. I do not know how it works if you put it all over your face, I am only speaking of dark spot removal.

Fair and White has many products.Fair and White Original has Hydroquinone(White Bottle). But F&W Exclusive(Blue bottle) and F&W So White(Pink bottle) do not have hydorquionone. In my opinion,I have used So White.It was so so nice. My race... African.

One question: where can I find a ready made hydroquinone powder on the net, because I bought one on a site that said it was a powder and when I open it it's some effing crystals that won't dissolve. And I need to be real spot free for the summer... please help.
