    What will caffine do?
Is it really true that caffine can hurt your chances at getting pregnant? I drink a lot of sodawhich has a lot caffine in it, like that is all I drink! Should I be laying off the caffine and more on the water a juices? Would this help my chances at getting pregnant? And is a little caffine OK? If anyone can tell me something it would be greatly apreciated. :p

I read somewhere that it can hinder getting pregnant if the woman drinks caffine. The man should drink some caffine shortly before intercourse as it helps the sperm. I don't know how true this is, but it's best to cut back anyway. Once you get pregnant you really shouldn't have more than one to two sodas a day. I would highly recommend cutting back now, since it will probably give you headaches if this is all you drink. I haven't had caffine in a long time because it would make me feel so aweful. Now if I have just a single cup of regular coffee I feel sick. If you switch to water you will probably see a drop in your weight, too.

Have you gotten your period yet? I saw that you were pretty late, but I didn't see if you ever took a test or got your period. How are things going?

I drink a small amount of caffeine while pregnant. I drank an ungodly amount before I became pregnant. It could have been one of the many factors that hindered conception. The most important thing to do when you want to get pregnant is to prepare your body. Drink less caffeine and eat a lot of healthy greens. Take prenatal vitamins every day. I would also look up more detailed information about eating for pregnancy.

This is purely anecdotal, but my cousin literally LIVES off coffee and got pregnant with no problems. She did not cut back on her coffee consumption during her pregnancy, and, in fact, the nursing staff was bringing her Starbucks while she was in the hospital! She had a healthy baby girl, no problems whatsoever.

BUT, it would be wise to reduce your caffeine consumption if you can, because everyone is different. Try drinking things with less caffeine to wean yourself off, if possible.

Well my fiancé drinks nothing but coffee and soda also, I have to bug him to drink water and juice. Before I got pregnant, I used to drink coffee once a day and maybe a soda or two, but I still ended up pregnant. I don't know where scientists got that idea about caffine decreasing fertility, maybe it does with very few... I don't know. Never heard or seen a case about caffine doing it. I've read about it, but never seen it actually doing that. I know you're not supposed to drink more than two cups of caffine a day when pregnant. But that's it.
