Female shaving how to?
I was wondering if I could get any tips or advice about shaving down there. I keep it trimmed and I used to shave when I was younger but don't really have the patience for it anymore. I'm a really big girl, and not to sound gross but whenever I shave I can't seem to get it all shaved, and there’s always stubble left. If I go over it too many times to get the stubble I get razor burn. I've thought about waxing because waxing never hurt me (on my legs) but I'm too shy to go in and get a professional done. Is it possible to do it at home myself? Are there any hair removal creams (like Nair) that are specifically for down there?

Well, I totally understand what you are talking about. I am a Bigger woman and Its taken me a while to get the hang of it.. I read in a Mag that you should Never Shave down to up.. So What I do is I shave the Top part, First.. From The Spot above the Lips to the Top.. When I shave my lips I I normally Crouch Down so its open and Go from there.. Oh if you shave from Bottom to top, your more then likely going to get Razor burn, I shave Top to bottom and then If I have stubble to shave from Bottom to top because I normally Don't get that bad of razor Burn.. Give it a Try and See what happens..

I know what you mean. I use to shave with a razor but I get the worse razor burn in the world. A few days ago I used nair. Honestly it burned a bit and got really hot but it worked pretty well. I just going to start doing that instead of shaving. Pain is beauty and the nair didn't give me a rash or anything so I'm just going to keep letting it burn. I found it to be more effective and WAY more simpler. Lol good luck.

I've used nair for sensitive skin before, but only on the upper part... the time I used it and got near the lips it burned and I had to wash it off right away. It didn't leave a rash, but I'd be afraid to use it again.

Find a shop in a different town. Its easier if you know you won't run into your waxer in the shopping store. Waxing buys you the most time... pain will be brief but it lasts weeks.
Cremes are rough to guess... they tend to last less than a week, and that's a pretty sensitive area. SOme more than others to different people.
If you can afford it there is Laser hair removal. You can keep that just waxed feel without all the hard upkeep. It requires a few visits as hair is in 3 growth cycles, and it has to le lased at the right cycle.

If you find shaving hard and are left with stubble there is no point doing it.
However home used waxing for down below is quite difficult and often painful - the best thing to do is go and get it done professionally - there is no need to be embaressed as they are professsionals and won't laugh or tell anyone about it - this is more quick and easier and is by far the longest lasting hair removal technique, however if you can't face the embaressment there are many hair removal creams out there suitable for this - only use the ones suitable for the bikini area and it's best to go for a sensitive cream. If it starts to burn leave it for a while as it often does this after the first use - just cool off with cold water afterwards and you're done.
Hope this has helped

Yes, get waxed professionally. I do and I totally prefer it! It stings a bit when they rip the hair out, but it doesn't last and it is soooooo worth it. It lasts for about 2 weeks before it grows back. I get waxed every 3-4 weeks. I vote for waxing!!

Don't use disposable razors!
I use a Venus razor; the head has two or three blades and a lubricated strip that makes the blades glide smoothly and easily.
