    Prometrium and pregnancy
I have been taking Prometrium for 7 days now. My Dr. prescribed it because I have a hormonal imbalance and my body does not produce one of the hormones that causes a body to ovulate. Probably going through menopause. I am curious as to if I can become pregnant while taking the Prometrium and I am unsure as to when I would ovulate while taking these pills. I have always had regular periods but did not have one since march 2007. Since and I am sort of clueless about this. Any answers would be helpful! Since taking the prometrium (started June 1st) I had a period 6/2 and 6/3, when should I start ovulating or an approximate ovulating time. I just bought the ovulating kit but not sure when to start.
    Thanks so much!!

Well if it only lasted those two days, its really hard to be sure you are on a set schedule yet. Did you discuss with your doctor your hopes to get pregnant? I would wait and see fi it regulates after a few months, and then start trying. Typically a woman ovulates 14 days after the first day of her period. This is the optimum time to conceive. But every woman is different. I am concerned though, that you may be starting menopause. I would discuss it further with my doctor until I fully understood everything and had all my questions answered, remember, you are paying him for that knowledge. Good luck hun.

I finally figured out how to retrieve the answer sorry about that. I did speak to my doctor and she told me to buy an ovulating kit which I did today and try the test on 12, 14 and 16 of this month. She felt good that I had a period for the 2 days and said that was a good thing, so I guess only time will tell now. I am 45 so I don't think I can wait any longer time won't permit lol.
