I did a little research into Ambrotose and came up with this (a glyconutrient):
In test after test conducted at leading institutes around the world, Glyconutritionals (Phytonutrients, Saccharides) have been shown to lower cholesterol, increase lean muscle mass, decrease body fat, accelerate wound healing, ease allergy symptoms, and allay autoimmune diseases such as arthritis, psoriasis, and diabetes. Bacterial infections, including the recurrent ear infections that plague toddlers, often respond remarkably to saccharides, as do many viruses--from the common cold to the flu, from herpes to HIV. The debilitating symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and Gulf War syndrome frequently abate after adding saccharides. And, for cancer patients, saccharides mitigate the toxic effects of radiation and chemotherapy--while augmenting their cancer-killing effects.

It doesn't mention anything about heart disease as you can see, although, if it lowers cholesterol that is a good thing, but at the same time, if you are the one with heart disease and your doctor is doing his job, then you should be on the proper meds.

If you have heart disease I would not take any supplement without asking your doctor first.

If you are going to take Ambrotose, make use the use a therapeutic serving. The amount printed on the label won't be enough for you once you have an acute health issue.
