    Earring fell down the Toilet
    My earing fell into the toilet and "disapeared" although the toilet hasn't been flushed... can it be saved? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Lauern,

    If the toilet hasn't been flushed then there's a pretty good chance it's still in the bottom of the bowl. Feel around and poke your finger in the jet hole to see if it slipped in there. For it to leave the bowl water would have had to enter the bowl and take it back past the trap. If you can't find it and it's a expensive piece of jewelry and if you wish to pull the toilet to look further click on back and I'll give you instructions. But be advised that pulling a toilet and resetting it is a dirty messy job best left to us dirty messy plumbers. Good luck, Tom
