Delete contact list in OL 2003
I would like to start a new contact list from scratch. I want to keep all of my mail folders and settings. I just want to re-do my contacts.
    Thank you

Why don't you just select all Contacts and hit "Delete"?

I've done that. I have a couple of different contact lists that are now empty and I would like to remove them entirely.

If you created the new contacts folders then you should be able to delete the folders from the folder list view. Since Outlook saves all those files in one .pst file you can't simply find the folder in Windows Explorer.

I cannot delete them from list view. That is why I am posting the question. I plan to re-create a brand new contact list. First I want to get rid of all the lists, then I will create one new one.

    Aha!
I missed your meaning at first. I found the folder view in the left pane and deleted the extra contact lists. So, when I choose "contacts" in the lower left under"mail" and "calendar" I see the correct "phone" list in the right pane. BUT... when I go back to "mail" and open my address book, the wrong list opens. Argh!
