    Height Growth Hormone Supplements
My 16 year old son is only 5'2" (my husband is 5'4" and I'm 5'). I know that my son's height is an issue with him. It has affected his self-esteem, especially since his 11 year old brother has had a growth spirt in the last 6 months and is already 5' tall. My question is: can hormone supplements increase his height without terrible side effects? If so, which supplement can you recommend? Thanks.

Any supplement that would possibly work would have to be prescribed by a doctor, and they would be growth hormones. Usually these are prescribed around the age of 12 and are not guaranteed to work.

Unfortunately anything that you purchase without a prescription will be a waste of money.

I wish I could help you more. Also, understand that sometimes boys will grow up until the age of around 19.
