Furnace Blower and A/C fan do not turn on
    I have the following equipment:
    - UNUS Excallibur furnace
    - Trane XE 1000 AC unit
    - Honeywell programmable thermostat (not sure of the model, but I'm sure it's old)

I recently tried to fire up my AC in the house. The thermostat seems to click, but neither the furnace fan or the outdoor unit start. I tried flipping the thermostat to just turn the furnace fan on and I can't seem to get that to work either. I opened the thermostat up and noticed a blue wire not connected. I connected it, but still seem to have the same problem. I opened the front of the furnace and didn't see any loose connections. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Does the furnace have power? Check that first.

The furnace has power. I checked the fuse box and everything seems in order there. I opened the bottom panel to the furnace and noticed that if I push the little button (the one that gets pushed when the panel is on), I get a red light on the circuit board. It says status. Does that help?

If you have volt meter chek transformer for 24 volts on secondary side. The blue wire probably is common wire which will not have to be connected if the stat uses batteries

My A/C will not turn on. The Thermostat just say's A/C. And the fan blower will not turn on. Fuses are good.
