    Missing standby
On my Windows XP system the Stanby Icon when I go to close down is greyed out, the only chang I have made to my system is to put in a new graphiocs card an ASUS GForce N6200, is this likely to be the cause, any suggestions as to what I need to do to get standby back.
    Thanks

Have you tried restarting since the new video card was detected?

Also it may have installed some updates and wants to be restarted for that reason too

So my suggestion is to power down and... restart
