    Plugs stuck in electrical outlet
Help! My 2-pronged vacuum won't come out of the electrical outlet. It's stuck. I've pluged it into the same outlet before and had no problems. Any suggestions on how to get it unplugged?

    Thanks!

It may be either stuck because it is snagged on something, or possibly welding or plastic is melted holding the plug in tight.

If pulling on it smooth and firm does not free it, best to shut off the breaker, disconnect to outlet form the wiring, and destroy the device to peel it away from the prongs to see if you can save the prongs. If the prongs look discolored, probably did overheat and best to replace that also.

Agree, save the cord if you can.
