    MTD lawn tractor driveline noise & engagement issue
    I've got a 1999 MTD that whines and bucks badly in forward gear (only has F, N ar R, not multispeed). Is there some kind of forward clutch? Can the diff/transaxle do this? Can it simply be a worn/slipping belt?

    It's the transmission/transaxle, in case you're wondering. She is shot. Kaput. Kerflunkt.
