The Green wire goes to the G terminal on the thermostat
The yellow Wire goes to the Y terminal on the thermostat
The white wire goes to the W terminal on the thermostat.

That leaves the Red wire and it goes on the Rh terminal on the thermostat, also the jumper goes to Rc.

Nothing is happening I have the red wire in RH and also the jumper in RH and RC... so I have no idea what to do, does AC units need freon or something because it is running but not cooling. Thank you so much though.

There are several reasons that the AC would run and not cool. First do you know that the compressor is running or is it just the outside fan running?
Yes it could need freon. Is the air that is coming our the top of the condensing unit hot or warm or just like the outside air? You should feel some pretty warm air blowing out the condenser and the large copper pipe connected to the condensing unit should be at least cool if the compressor is running.

Tell me more if this does not help. If it helps please rate the answer
