Lease
I have lost my job, I can no longer afford my rent that I still have 10mos left to go on my Lease. I live in Fort Lauderdale Florida.I have a deposit and the last mo rent paid to the landlord. I was told I must send in writing to the landlord a 60 day notice. Can you tell me if this is legal and what other moneys will I be libel for?

You will need to read the exact terms of your lease, it is normal, for you to owe full rent until such time as they rent it to someone else.
You would basically have to pay full costs till it is rented to someone else. * they have an obligation to find another renter. This is standard, your lease may or maynot have allowance for other rules. |
