My fiancé and I are both Catholic. We were both previously married. She had her marriage annulled by the church but I was denied annullment. So we are getting married on the beach. Who do we get to marry us? There are websites but the people seem cheesy or they seem like a cult. Please help.

Why not a Justice of the Peace? It is legal and not cheesy and it is certainly valid.

You could also talk to various ministers - like a Unitarian (they certainly are not prejudiced about anyone's faith). Whatever way you choose to go, I wish you a beautiful wedding. The beach sounds lovely.

But there are a lot of ministers who do location, the courthouse where you get your license normally has a list of people who will do weddings often on location.

And sorry but many wedding ministers have to do outravious web sites, weddings are a big business ( yep, I said it business) those in wedding chapel areas can make big money, those in vegas are taken advantage of sadly, they are hired by the hour normally and even have to split their tips with their owners of the chapels.

If you tell me where you are getting married at, I may know some of the local pasters.

Check the web. You can have a family member or friend ordained for a small fee just to perform marriage ceremonies. It's an option.

A judge, justice of the peace or a Unitarian minister are all good options for you.
