I want to have children
Im a 17 year old girl who is desperate to have a baby. I have been with my boyfriend for over 1 year now and he really wants a baby to. He sayd he doesn't want any unless its with me. I love him so much and wuld do anything for him. I absolutely adore babies and have wanted 1 of my own from I was 15 but I have always been afraid of what my parents would think of me.
My boyfriend and friends have atold me to talk to my mum about it but the problem is me and my mum don't really have a mother- daughter relationship and I don't feel as if I can talk to her as she will just tell me to wise myself. I want to have the baby out of my own choice but I don't want to let on to my family my baby was a mistake!
I really am desperate please help. :(

Please, please, seek some counseling as soon as possible. What you are feeling is very common. You want someone who will love you unconditionally. Trust me I had my fist at 33 and boy is it hard. He is 4 now and he still is difficult. Think about finishing school and a career before starting a family think about the child and give him a fighting chance. Trust me if you have a baby now, you will do it all on your own. Baby's daddy has no clue, you don't have a good relationship with mom. Where's dad? If you need additional advice from me feel free to write me. Please think twice.

I am 27 divorced for 4 years almost, I have 4 kids and am having the worst time trying to make it in the world. Honey, WAIT!! I understand that you are in love, and adore kids, but remember you can always give someone else's baby back to them. I was married at 16, seven years from now where are you going to be? Happy still? Maybe, make your own decision, but, really, wait before you bring a baby into this world.

You're not ready to have a baby, emotionally or financially.
It's better for your baby if you have him/her later when you're ready

I had my son right before my 17th birthday. Don't do it. I love him more than life's itself, but if I could have waited till I was married and out of school, I would have. I wanted him so much, My boyfriend at the time wanted him too. We thought we knew everything and we were so in love. My son will be 5 this month, he hasn't seen his dad in three years and my parents had to help me raise him until I finished high school and could move out on my own. By the grace of God I have a wonderful man in our lives and I'm going back to school. BUT it has NOT been an easy journey. I wish I would have waited and done things the right way. Having your parents try to raise your child SUCKS! You're still a child! Be one, have fun, enjoy your freedom. Then when you're done with school, and you can financially support yourself and you're still with this boyfriend. DO IT! But don't do it now, it'll be for all the wrong reasons. And the crap my son has been through isn't fair for ANY child. They are the innocent ones.
