I don't think anybody really understands what goes on in those furry little heads. If a healthy puppy much over 2 months old is fouling its crate, I suspect it is a behavior problem. Somehow the vinegar must have cut it. I have never had the problem. It does seem more common with smaller dogs. I will wait for more reports of success before suggesting it. Vinegar is highly recommended for hiding previous accidents. Perhaps it gave the crate a new start and the dog decided to keep its crate fresh.
