    Porsche Importation
I am looking to purchase and import a new 2007 Porsche Carrera 911 Cabriolet. Is the warranty transferrable from United States to Canada?

Why don't you ask the dealership where you are buying it ?

I would want to read the warranty, the one that I will get when / if I were to purchase the vehicle. Also, you didn't ask, but I would want to know who/what/where would I get warranty service. I would not want to drive 500 miles, for example, to obtain warranty work.

    Hello jack:

You need to read the warranty. Don't take anybody's word for it except your own. However, I wonder what prompted your question. I certainly would assume that the warranty IS transferable. After all, the DO have Porsche dealers in Canada, and Porsche is an international company.

Given the above, I also wonder why you don't buy it in Canada. Then you have no worries.

There are many in the greater Toronto area, Google has many to choose from. I fact we have one in the small town I live in in Eastern Ontario. Toronto is an international centre now, so there should be no problem.
