    Light brown discharge
    HI...
    I need some help!! :eek: I started my period on May 12,2007 during the afternoon and today its May 17 and I just noticed it was a light brown discharge. My periods are regular. First day is always light and red then the 2nd day its medium then in the middle its heavy and dark red and then toward the end its like the beginning, my periods last 6-7 days out of my cycle and this period its 5 or 6 th day and its light brown. I don't take no birthcontrol or depo and I am sexually active with my common-law boyfriend we have been together 4 yrs this sept we have sex all the time cause he's a horny little thing him hehe:) except when I have my period that's my break hehe:D well anyway if you have advice for me please tell me.. thanx[F]

    Ooh and I have been on depo once for like the 3months shot made me too fat so I got off it

    I have the same thing happen when I have my periods. I have talked to my dr. and she told me it was "old" blood and nothing to worry about.

    So could I be pregnant or have a infection or what?? You have four answers there of implantaion and pregnancy and a few more ohh and I have ended my period today and the brown discharge started yesterday and I still had a bit light brown discharge today

    As the answers above note... brown discharge is typically old blood.

    It usually appears at the end of a period and may trickle for a few days after the period is over.
