1990 Honda Accord, cold starting problems
Full tune just performed. Now vehicle will crank but not start when engine is cold. After maybe five attempts, vehicle will start but is very "sluggish" (idle revs up and down sporadically). Check engine stays on and within 30 seconds the "S" light blinks. This happens about 95% of all cold starts. Very rarely will the car start right away.

Drive the car for about five minutes (to warm it up). Then turn it off and it will turn right back on with the first try. The check engine light and "S" light will remain off. Any ideas?

    . Check for codes.
. Test/replace igniter and coil--many AutoZone stores can do this for free.
. Make sure spark plugs (NGK only), rotor, and distributor cap are in good shape.
