    Hepatitis B
    My mother died of liver cancer as a result of hepatitis B. My sister and I were also diagnosed with hepatitis B however mine is chronic and hers is not. What is chronic hepatitis B and what are chances that I will get liver cancer.

    With chronic Hep B there is an increased risk of cirrhosis and hepatic cancer. Now as far as the chances, this you will have to take up with your doctor as he knows your history.

    Are you currently being treated for this? What are you taking? Are you eligible for a transplant?
