    Blocked air in pipes
I turned the water off at the tap outside the house but I didn't leave a tap on in the house so when I've gone to turn the water on again in side a little later no water is coming out, is this because I didn't leave a tap on inside ? How do I get the water pressure going again thanks a desperate mother :)

Surely if you open all the taps the main water pressure will force out the air. If this doesn't happen maybe there is another problem. Did you turn on the stopcock fully?

My A/C wasn't putting out cold air. I checked the outside unit and discovered that a plastic drycleaning bag had been sucked onto the air intake side of the "box" and was totally covering the air intake. I removed the plastic bag and the unit has been working, but I don't think that it is...
