    Almost 5 months-NO PERIOD!
I am on birth control but I haven't had it in a while because of financial reasons. Now that I have it again, my doctor told me to start it on a Sunday when I start my period. I haven't started the birth control yet because I haven't started my period. What do I do? It is a nice vacation but I am starting to wonder. Please give me any suggestions or tell me what you think is wrong. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Well first of all, you could be pregnant so I would advise you to take the test before you do anything. However, once you stop taking birth control it take take up to a year for your cycle to become regular again. If I were you I would just start taking the new pack on the next Sunday because more than likely that alone will bring about your period for the next month. If your not as impatient as I am I would definitely call your doctor and just explain the situation to him, he will have answers! :o good luck

It depends on if your taking the pill or if you have the shot. Because if you have the pill it will take awhile before it is completely out of you system. And if your on the shot it will take a couple of years.

There is nothing rude about that, calling someone pregnant is pretty rude.

If you don't have a period it most likely because your not taking you pills, or have been getting the shot. You should wait a couple more dayz or weeks, and if it doesn't come bak then go to your doctors and ask what is wrong with you.

Actually it is not rude, some people think the word "prego" is cute. My daughter used to use it all the time when I was pregnant with my son. She even went so far as to want to buy Pregnant Spaghetti Sauce. :p

I spoke to the doctor and she told me that I just need to start the pills on the upcoming Sunday. I'm glad that there isn't a problem but I'm not glad that I have to start having my period again. Ugh. Lol. Well thank you guys. You've been helpful. Bye.
