    Landlord/Tenants Laws
I live in Westchester, NY and I wanted to know if a landlord had the right to show an apartment while it is still occupied. I will be moving in about a month and a half and they want to start showing the apartment now. I have children and I don't feel safe with people walking around my apartment with all my things still here.

A landlord can show the apartment if reasonable notice is given. You can tell the landlord that you are concerned about thief or damage but you can't totally bar him access. He will be with the potential tenant and would certainly not rent to anyone who steals. It would not be in his best interset either.

Yes, with notice they may show the apartment. I don't know the notice they have to give in your area, but 24 hours is common in many states.
So if they tell you today that they will be showing it tomorrow, then they can come in tomorrow and show it.
