    Forms for ITIN no for J2
    Me and my wife came to US on J1 and J2 visas in June 2006.I am working as a resident doctor and my wife was at home.Can she apply for a ITIN no if yes what forms does she need.

    Are you from India? If so, you can claim your wife as a dependent as you qualify as a "business apprentice" as defined by IRS Pub 519.

    In that case, your wife CAN apply for an ITIN using Form W-7.
