    Friend Zone
Ok I broke up with a long term boyfriend about 4 months ago, we were pretty serioius and I found out that he was cheating on me and that he was never really faithful so now I am very cautious and I worry all the time. I go to school with a guy named Chad and he has never cheated on a girlfriend and he got out of a long term relationshuip a while ago as well, we have been hanging out a lot he is so perfect but he is a senior and the school year is almost done, last night we talked on the phone and he said he liked me a lot and he wants to date me but he's leaving for college that is out of town... but it is only an hour away so I could go and visit him when ever I get the chance, he told me last night that he was just afraid of really getting attached to me and then having to leave but he would then tell me that there was a very very good chance we'de end up dating and that he just really needed to think about it I just don't know what to do I need help, he is sooo perfect and I feel like he is my one chance of having a good shot at a good relationship and I'm scared I won't have to oppurtunity to take the chance.. what do I do?

You may not be ready to hear this but you need to forget about him. He's leaving for college and he'll only break your heart. Sounds like he's toying with you.

Talk, tell, discuss. Let him know what your fears are about a relationship with him, and what you see as a positive outcome of it. An hour isn't that far... but it might be a little far for a serious relationship.
I would suggest that you sit down with him, tell him your emotions, but also bring up the possibility of holding your friendship where it is until he gets out of school.
If you start dating right now a lot of insecurities could arise, especially since you've been cheated on before.
He will be an hour away... which means you can't stop in on him at any minute.
Women tend to let their minds wander into dangerous territory, even into hypothetical situations that can damage a relationship.
A lot of things can go wrong in a dating relationship...
Friendships are a lot more secure, and don't need as much time and attention.

    Just my opinion... good luck
