As of today my period is 1 week late. I have taken a pregnancy test that turned out to be negative. I took that pregnancy test 3 days late from my period. I haven't had many symptoms except from feeling tired and hungry. I have been pregnant 3 times before. I haven't never experienced anything like this. My period has never been late without me being pregnant.

Periods are late for 1000's of reasons, medical, emotional, stress, other medication you take. And of course not all home tests are that correct only one week out from the period date.

It is possible that it can be many things, I am sure a few others will come here with some better time frames but if you are still late in a couple more weeks, I would go to your family doctor for a check up and a test there.

I would wait until two weeks late, take another test, and then see a doctor if the test is still negative.
