    Corner Tub drain in basement
I am puttin in a corner tub in the basement where a shower used to be. The drain on the tub doesn't match where the drain in the floor. We are okay with raising the tub so I need to know if its okay to run an extension under the tub over to the drain. Is there anything I need to be aware of if I do this?

I personally have done this. It is not the best way and can have problems later, but it will work.

I bought an overflow/drain connection kit from Home...

Basement tub drain connection [ 1 Answers ]

I'm getting ready to install a tub on the concrete. The drain line was roughed under the slab, and there is a 10" X 10 " dap box that exposes the drain line. It looks to me that the P trap was not part of the rough. So I'll need to glue a P trap in, and leave the open end pointig up in the right...

Basement tub drain? [ 6 Answers ]

I have a bathroom in my basement with a sink, toilet and shower. The shower is draining in to a floor drain. I want to pull out the shower and put in a Jacuzzi tub, my question is how do I connect to the existing drain? I'm guessing that just dumping the tub in to the floor drain is a bad idea ...
