    Roof Electrical Stack Boot
On my house, the electrical service enters through a weatherhead and then down through the roof at the eave and into the meter can. The neoprene boot at the base of the stack is cracked. Do you know of a split or two piece boot that can be placed around that stack pipe without having to remove the weatherhead and main lines from the stack? Any other ideas on repairing? The cost of disconnecting at the pole to pull those lines is frightening.

    Thanks!!

I did not think there was a solution for this, but I did a search and there is this product:

Roof Jack, Pipe Flashing, Pipe Jack

What will they think of next?

Hello All, I am in the process of remodeling a kitchen and We have decided to convert a full wall to a half wall/bar top in front of the kitchen sink. This means there will be no wall through which the drain vent can run. I plan on using an auto-vent for venting but that still leaves the PVC...

Vent Stack boot on roof [ 4 Answers ]

Installing new DWV system, finally ready to cut the stack through the roof. The flashing/boot that I bought says "do not caulk". I assume that means don't use caulk around the neoprene gasket that seals around the stack pipe, makes sense to me. But what about the flat underside of the aluminum...
