    Working aboard
Hi my partner and I are currently working in the UK, we are looking to buy property in Canada, peferably in the Toronto area. My partner is a Canadian citizen and I am a Canadian resident.
Will it be possible to get a mortgage in Canada and if so, who should we approach? We plan to continue working in the UK but having our main residence in Canada, as eventually we want to return to Canada. Any suggestions?

I suggest you approach any one of the Toronto area banks, TD Canada Trust, CIBC, Royal Bank, the credit unions; submit your income, your residency, and see what happens, then, if you are approved pick an area you want to live in, apply, and go for it!
