80's cartoon series that had a lot of cartoons in it.
This was more of a series of cartoons that was basically all under the one beginning theme, I think... it was with a kid who had a nintendo controller as a belt or something... he was sucked into the video game world... he ran around with megaman... but also, with that series of cartoons, there was another one, more abscure cartoon... a barbarian of sorts and a team of other people would battle against other creatures all the while trying to find treasure chests that the barbarian would stab with his sword (he gained powers from it)... I can't remember what it was... its been bothering me beyond belief.

Captain N: The Game Master - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yeah it was Captain N The Game Master, I loved that show. I always remember when they went to Tetris land and their cars had squares for wheels because everything was made from tetris bricks :)

Well, I was really just wondering about the barbarian show... but I don't care anymore now... no one is going to know it. But Capt N and the N Team definitely took up a lot of my time then. Used to love that theme song that went with it... I think it went "run, run, u better run run" or something.

In terms of barbarian cartoons from that time:
    Thundar the Barbarian
    The Herculoids
    And Blackstar
Were the three heavy hitters of the 70's and 80's cartoon click.
